Can others access my case?

No. Cases are private to your account. Other SeraCase users cannot open your case.

Overview

SeraCase does not offer multi-user case sharing. Your documents, Timeline, Ask Sera chats, and Insights stay within your signed-in account, protected by authentication and row-level access controls.

Why this feature exists

People often worry a spouse, opposing party, or another customer could see their files. They cannot.

Best practices

  • Protect your login with MFA so only you can open the account.
  • Sign out when finished on shared devices.
  • Use Export if you need to share materials with a lawyer outside SeraCase.

Productivity tips

  • Export a lawyer brief or package rather than sharing your password.

Common mistakes

  • Sharing account credentials with someone else.
  • Leaving the browser signed in on a family computer.
