Case Insights

See a structured view of your case health — themes, strengths, and areas that need attention.

Overview

Insights (Case Insights) gives you a calmer, structured review of your matter: what’s taking shape, where evidence looks stronger, and where preparation still needs work. Refresh after major uploads so the picture stays current.

Why this feature exists

Individual documents don’t show the whole board. Insights help you step back and see the case as a system — still without legal advice.

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Open Insights

From the Insights cluster or navigation, open Insights for your current case.

  2. 2

    Scan the overview

Note themes, notable gaps, and areas that look well supported.

  3. 3

    Drill into what matters

Open linked Evidence, Timeline, Evidence Gaps, or Ask Sera from items that need follow-up.

  4. 4

    Refresh after changes

When you’ve added meaningful documents, run Review with Sera or refresh insights so recommendations stay aligned.

Best practices

  • Use Insights as a weekly check-in, not only before export.
  • Pair Insights with Evidence Gaps for a complete “have vs. need” picture.
  • Share observations with counsel as preparation notes — not as conclusions.

Productivity tips

  • After refreshing Insights, create at most three tasks from the highest-impact findings.
  • Ask Sera to explain one insight in plain language if the label isn’t clear.

Common mistakes

  • Reading Insights as a prediction of legal outcomes.
  • Skipping verification in source documents.
