An export package reflects materials and structure from your case — commonly documents from Evidence and related organized outputs depending on the export options you select. Items in Trash are not a substitute for a curated package; review inclusion choices carefully before you download.

    Review Export options

    Open Export and read which components are available for your package.

    Confirm Evidence is complete

    Browse Evidence to ensure the documents you expect are present and finished reviewing.

    Check Timeline readiness

    If chronology is part of your package or accompanying preparation, clean duplicates and verify key dates.

    Generate and spot-check

    Download a package and open it locally. Spot-check a few important files before wider sharing.

Best practices

  • Treat the package as a snapshot in time — new uploads after export won’t appear until you export again.
  • Remove mistaken uploads (Move to Trash) before creating a package you plan to share.
  • Keep personal notes out of materials you don’t intend to disclose.

Productivity tips

  • Maintain a simple “share set” mindset: include what’s needed for the next conversation, not every draft photo.
  • After spot-checking, note any missing pages as Tasks or Evidence Gaps.

  • Assuming every UI surface (chat history, dismissed recommendations) is automatically in the file package.
  • Forgetting that unclear photos will appear unclear offline too.

Are Ask Sera chats included?

Export focuses on case materials and package options shown in Export. Don’t assume chat transcripts are included unless the export options say so.

What about items in Trash?

Trashed items are outside normal use. Restore anything you still need before exporting, or leave it out intentionally.
